I was asked by North Devon Hospices to create a structure to go on a floating raft that would be covered in flowers with messages to the recently passed away as part of their annual commeration . So I created a two coloured round/conical structure of brown willow and then a heart shaped 5 foot high part on top made from buff willow. The ceremony itself was amazingly heartfelt and emotional and the heart , in the end, was covered in around 300 flowers. When words have been said it was then carried to the sea, attached to a skiff then rowed out to sea.
